Agra is known the world over for the beautiful wonder of the world, Taj Mahal, and is situated on the right bank of the river Yamuna. Agra is a city with a glorious past and has had the distinction of being the capital of various ruling dynasties.
Agra in terms of ambiance is still associated with its Mughal period. The Mughals besides being great rulers were also great builders and they preserved their best architectural wonders for Agra & its neighborhood. It has many wonderful monuments and the Taj Mahal, the greatest of them all, is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture at its best. The massive but elegant Agra Fort, the delicate artistry of Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb, the magnificent Taj and Akbar’s deserted capital, Fatehpur Sikri, are each unique and outstanding. Their architectural genius can also be seen in the forts, palaces and aesthetically laid out gardens – each one a silent witness to a grand style of a golden era.
This evening, we will visit the amazing Taj Mahal to experience this magnificent monument at Sunset.

Ranthambore is situated at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya ranges. Since becoming one of the original 11 areas under Project Tiger in 1973, the park has recovered much of its previous natural glory. The blend between nature and history is strong in this park – the fort, temples, tanks and other relics are a constant reminder of man’s involvement in the area. The fort commanded a large region and up to the late 13th century was the centre of a Hindu kingdom. During the 18th century the Maharajas of Jaipur protected the area as a hunting area for and and it is thanks to an extension of this protection that the park exists today.
Day–5 & Day–6
We will enjoy two game-drives at the park, first early before breakfast and second later after lunch on both the days.
Ranthambore has an impressive range of animal species within its 392 sq. km, including sambar, cheetal, nilgai, chinkara, wild boar, sloth bear, hyena, jackal, leopard and the highly endangered Royal Bengal Tiger. The rich birdlife reflects the range of flora on which it feeds. During the winter months, the lakes attract a variety of migrant water birds.
